Comparative law notes
According to Hungarian judicial practice, 1. a tresspass to goods is when the possessor is deprived of his possessions without a legal basis or 2. is unduly disturbed in his possession. In Hungarian law, this is called "tilos önhatalom". In Hungary, the concept of trespass to goods is often considered a property law concept, however this is not correct. It is more suitable to categorise it as a "general" legal institution instead of a more specific property law concept.
