"Limitações aos direitos autorais" is the expression used by the Brazilian Copyright Act (Law No. 9,610 of 1998) to list cases, situations and categories, in which the use of copyrighted work without the permission of its owner falls into the category of fair dealing and is not considered a violation (sec. 46 of the law).
