(US LAW) a person who petitions a US court in one US state to allow a judgment given in another US state to be enforced. In the US, judgments can be recognized and enforced based on the Full Faith and Credit Clause in the United States Constitution.

As used in this chapter: "Judgment creditor" means the person or persons who can bring an action to enforce a sister state judgment.
