This card is linked to a line of credit specified in the agreement between the bank and the cardholder, which is recorded on a credit account. When the cardholder uses his card, he receives a loan from the bank up to the limit of the line of the credit. The bank sends the account statement to the cardholder at specified intervals, usually monthly, indicating the card transactions and the amount of credit used.
