The two main players in the market are the producer (seller) and the consumer (buyer), among whom the power relations are often in favor of the producer. Satisfied consumers are an indispensable player in the market economy and therefore need consumer protection and support. The aim of consumer protection is to restore balance, to represent and enforce consumer rights and interests.
