Definitions of compelling need
a need (=to have to have something) that is so great that a great injustice or irreparable harm would result if the need is not met. NB an irreparable harm is an injury, loss, or other harm that can not be repaired in any way.
The arbitrator may in his discretion order documentary discovery but shall not allow depositions without a showing of compelling need.
