jury foreman

a juror is a person who sits on, or is a member of, a jury (=a group of people selected to reach a decision on questions of fact based on evidence presented in court). The foreman of the jury is the chief juror, selected by the other jurors to lead discussions and give the verdict (=official decision as to whether someone is guilty or not guilty, or liable or not liable etc, in court)
