Definitions of court fee

English

(often: court fees) money that a party must pay to the court, especially the claimant in a legal dispute. Jurisdictions sometimes distinguish court fees from court costs. The court fees are what an applicant, petitioner, or claimant has to pay, whereas the costs are the loser's payment to the winner (see below additional note).

The court fee is based on the amount you're claiming, plus interest.
